Et un à Tanya Holliday qui était elle aussi à Moscou aux Championnats du monde  .

Jared Tallent reçoit son troisième rouge dans le dernier kilomètre et franchi la ligne en tête en 1h22'34'' . Tanya Holliday se fait arréter par le chef juge à 1km de la ligne alors qu'elle était en tête .

Les deux épreuves se sont joué en négative split , ceci expliquant ( peut être ) cela.
